Wild Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are the perfect no-hassle grab and go breakfast, snack, and nutritious carb load when done with the right ratio of oat to liquid and creative flavor combo.

Yield: 48oz, 3 16oz mason jars

INGREDIENTS:

Basic Overnight Oats:

  • 1.5 cup (120g) rolled oats

  • 1.5 cup (360ml) milk, dairy or dairy-free

  • 1 cup (285g) greek yogurt, or dairy-free yogurt

  • 3 tablespoon (30g) chia seeds

  • 3 tablespoon (60g) maple syrup

  • 3 teaspoon (12g) vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl. With a rubber spatula, stir until thoroughly mixed.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for 2-8 hours or until oats are hydrated to desired creamy consistency.

  3. Scoop portions of overnight oats into 16oz mason jars with a lid and top with your favorite fruits, powders, spices, extracts and more.


Variations:

White Chocolate Mocha Chip:

  • 1 scoop of mocha coffee powder + added milk or coffee if too thick

  • 1/4 cup (40g) white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

  • 2 tablespoon (12g) coconut flakes

Pumpkin Spice & Dark Chocolate:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) pumpkin puree

  • 1/4 cup (40g) dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

  • 1 tablespoon (14g) light brown sugar

Banana Walnut:

  • 1 banana chopped or smushed

  • 1/4 cup (28g) walnuts, chopped or whole

  • 1 heaping tablespoon (15g) dark brown sugar

Cran-Blueberry:

  • 1/2 cup (74g) blueberries

  • 1/2 cup (40g) dried cranberries

  • 2 tablespoon (21g) honey
